Action Teams
The Every Child Shines (ECS) Action Teams have two goals:
To provide opportunities for individuals who access services and those who coordinate services to collaborate on generating and advancing solutions in East Boston to improve kindergarten readiness in East Boston.
To engage the community in ensuring that families are supported across sectors so all children can enter kindergarten joyful, thriving, and ready to learn.
There are three Every Child Shines Action Teams:
Early Care & Education Action Team
-
The Early Care & Education Action Team’s work focuses on identifying steps to promote better educational and socio-emotional outcomes for East Boston's children. The group members decided to start by strategizing ways in which to provide information to the community regarding the services available at each early care provider site. This led to the creation of an Early Education Provider Directory to share with providers and families.
